Research & Planning
When i have looked at this previous students work. I have seen that she has looked at a local magazine
that is similar to the magazine that she is making called Lancashire Life. From her research on other
magazines she has learnt that there is a british emphasis on the magazine such as fish and chapis
and the great british bake off. Her research has benefitted her because it shows that regional magazine
needs to appeal to a wide audience. She has also used variety of techniques in her planning with a
mood board of collecting different magazines in order to try inspire her and consolidate her ideas.
She also took photos that were commonly used in regional magazines.
This helped her plan what shots that she was going to use in her magazine.

idea of what she would need to do in order to try too interest her own readers. This has given her a
advantage because she can then use these conventions in her magazine. This meant she can
produce a poster that would tempt her target market to purchase the magazine.

She has made a radio advert for her magazine. From her previous research of the radio advertisements
this is allowed her to see what makes a high quality radio advertisement and what would encourage her
target market to purchase the magazine.
